Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP announced today that partner Claudine A. Chen-Young was selected to participate in a program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to help identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

As a partner in Katten’s Structured Finance and Securitization practice in the firm’s Washington, DC office, Chen-Young has extensive experience with securitizations of all types of residential mortgage loans and mortgage-related assets. She assists clients in developing and executing complex deal structures and novel transactionsand establishing new mortgage-backed securitization programs. Chen-Youngadvises issuers and underwriters in connection with asset financings and securitizations involving a number of financial assets.

As a participant in LCLD’s Fellows Program, which has trained more than 1,600 attorneys since 2011, Chen-Young will be offered a yearlong professional development training program aimed at building relationship and leadership skills and devoted to peer-group projects and “extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership and the best teachers in the business,” according to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr.
