Veteran real estate attorney and experienced in-house counsel Jennifer Shea has joined Womble Carlyle’s Charlotte office. At Womble Carlyle, Shea will focus her practice primarily on reviewing and negotiating commercial leases in the restaurant and retail sectors. 

Shea comes to Womble Carlyle from Premier, Inc., where she facilitated complex commercial contract negotiations in the healthcare sector.  Prior to Premier, she practiced in-house at SunEnergy1, where she negotiated and executed ground leases, interconnection agreements and power purchase agreements for several major energy companies.

Outside the firm, Shea is a member of the Charlotte Symphony Choir, the Firebird Arts Alliance, and the First Friday Jazz Series archivist for the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.

Shea is a graduate of the University of Illinois-Urbana and the University of Chicago Law School.
