As the first philanthropic initiative working together, the Baltimore office will participate in DHG’s fifth annual Count the Cans which will take place June 17 to June 27, 2016. The DHG Baltimore office will collect monetary and non-perishable food donations in an effort serve the greater Baltimore community and families who face the struggle of hunger. Additionally the Partners and employees will volunteer at the Maryland Food Bank and Helping Up Mission, which serves meals to the homeless community, as a part of the Count the Cans initiative. Over 3.2 Million pounds of food have been donated to local food banks in the Mid-Atlantic and Southern states in prior years of the annual DHG Count the Cans food drive.
