An executive vice president of Nucor Corporation, one of the largest steel producers in the United States, sold over $100,000 worth of stock, according to a Form 4 filing posted with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.

Mary Emily Slate, the executive vice president of sheet and tubular products, sold 600 shares at $48.81 and another 1,549 at $48.82, for a total value of $104.909.

Slate, who was named an EVP in May 2019, directly owned 56,571 shares after the transaction.

This filing comes a week after Nucor reported third quarter earnings that topped Wall Street’s expectations, despite a decline in net earnings and sales compared to third quarter 2019.

Nucor, based in Charlotte, is one of the largest steel producers based in the U.S.

Shares of Nucor Corporation (NUE) were down $1.76, or 3.52 percent, to $48.29 Wednesday.
