Bandwidth Appoints Marina Carreker President

Bandwidth, Inc., a provider of cloud communications, appointed Marina Carreker as its new president, the company announced on Monday.

Carreker previously spent four years as deputy general counsel for Bandwidth, working on commercial agreements, litigation and management of data privacy issues.

Before working for Bandwidth, she spent eight years as a litigation attorney.

“Marina has been a key partner in the business for years and has become a trusted advisor to many of our senior leaders. In this new role, she will work closely with us to execute against our top strategic priorities,” Bandwidth CEO David Morken said in a release.

Carreker graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain Scholar, and she received her law degree from the University of Virginia Law School. She spent

In addition to Carreker, Bandwidth appointed John Bell and Ryan Henley as the company’s chief product and chief customer officers. The company also appointed Michelle Flynn as senior vice president of operations and Amaya Lantero as its international general manager.

“I’m thrilled to welcome this group to their new leadership roles. These individuals have tremendous experience and have helped to shape our business and culture over the past decade,” Morken said.

Bandwidth shares (BAND) fell 35 cents to close at $157.50 on Monday.
