Lowe’s, the home improvement retailer, announced will hire 20,000 workers to keep up with demand during the holidays and it will distribute an additional $100 million in bonuses for front-line employees, according to a press release Friday.

Lowe’s will add new full-time, part-time, seasonal and overnight roles across its stores and will add 2,500 new employees to regional distribution centers throughout the U.S.

The company has already added over 155,000 employees to its ranks through its seasonal hiring process since the pandemic began, as the company has fared well due to an increase in sales. The company added that many of those hires have transitioned to full-time roles.

Lowe’s said it will dole out another $100 million in bonuses, the sixth of its kind since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic and the second bonus announced in October, bringing the total bonuses to more than $775 million.

Full-time employees at U.S. stores, distribution centers and call centers will receive a $300 bonus on Nov. 13, and bonuses for part-time and seasonal employees will be $150.

“As the holiday season approaches, we’re especially grateful for our front-line associates who continue to maintain the highest level of customer service, and this bonus is our way of saying thank you and providing a little extra financial support for their families during this time,” CEO Marvin R. Ellison said in a statement.

“We’re also pleased to continue hiring for more than 20,000 roles across our store and supply chain during a time when it’s more important than ever to make being home for the holidays special,” Ellison added.

Lowe’s shares (LOW) were last trading down 2.34 percent, or $3.76, at $156.99 per share.
