Syneos Health, a Morrisville-based biopharmaceutical company, was named to the Forbes 2020 list of World’s Best Employers, the company announced Monday.

Syneos ranked 256th on the list of 750 corporations. The list, compiled by Forbes and Statista Inc., ranked companies from around the world using anonymous independent surveys that asked about topics including gender equality, social responsibility, Covid-19 response and image.

Syneos, which employs about 24,000 people and operates in more than 110 countries, ranked highest among all biopharmaceutical outsourcing organizations on this year’s list. The company said in the release that it provides its continuous learning experiences for its employees, including leadership and development programs and accreditation training.

“From day one, we aimed to create a new kind of Company – one with a transformative business model and a unique empowering culture to match,” CEO Alistair Macdonald said in a statement. “We looked to create an inclusive environment where bringing your authentic self to work is the norm and strategic problem solvers with a passion for accelerating the delivery of medicines to patients thrive.”

Last week, Syneos announced it received an award for clinical research sites for the fourth year. The company, created in 2017 when two contract research organizations merged, will announce its third-quarter financial results at the end of the month.

Shares of Syneos stock were trading at $60.86 Monday morning, up 11 cents, or 0.18 percent.
