Honeywell, the multinational conglomerate, announced this week that it’s teaming up with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers to “create a safer stadium experience.”

Honeywell will provide individual Panthers branded personal protective equipment (PPE) for fans and staff. These safety packs will include a mask, hand sanitizer and wipes.

Honeywell will deploy its air quality monitoring technology within the stadium through its real-time Healthy Buildings dashboard. The Healthy Buildings dashboard, which integrates into the stadium’s existing infrastructure, will help the Panthers’ staff to quickly identify and correct air quality issues such as carbon dioxide levels, temperature and humidity.

“We’re all excited to bring back a bit of ‘normal’ and we’re pleased to be able to do that through our partnership with the Carolina Panthers for the 2020 NFL season. We get to not only to support our hometown team, but also to provide a safer environment and peace of mind for the players, patrons and staff that are eager to return to home games with cheering fans,” Honeywell’s chief commercial officer Jeff Kimbell said in the release.

Honeywell is also the presenting sponsor for the Panthers “Behind the Scenes” video series, Road to Restart, which details the team’s efforts to transform its facilities to address enhanced safety measures. Honeywell also plans to work with the panthers on joint community relations efforts in the future.
