Cape Fear CREW proudly notes the recognition by StarNews Media and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce of Cape Fear CREW member, Brooke Skipper, in the 40 Under 40 Awards for 2020.

Brooke Skipper is the Co-Owner of Salt Air Heating and Cooling in Wilmington North Carolina. She has worked in the HVAC industry for 9 years. At Salt Air, her team works to make the process a stress-free experience for their clients; delivering 5-star communication and service. Brooke enjoys volunteering with the Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry (W.A.R.M.) where she currently serves as the Board Chair and is heavily involved in Ducks Unlimited, serving on the local and state committees. In her free time, you will find Brooke enjoying the outdoors with her husband Devin and Labrador Retriever, Reese.

For the second year, the StarNews and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce teamed up to recognize young professionals who go above and beyond. The 40 Under 40 Award is designed to spotlight those who excel in their professional roles as well as in the ways they serve our community. This year’s honorees are from a variety of fields, including the healthcare industry, education, nonprofits, real estate, government and the arts. The StarNews and the Chamber of Commerce are planning to recognize the recipients at a virtual awards ceremony on Oct. 22. The StarNews will also publish profiles on each recipient online on Oct. 22 and in a special print section of the newspaper on Oct. 23.
