Savills announced two new hires in the firm’s Charlotte office. Industry veteran D. Maxwell Hanks joins as senior managing director and Tommy Beecher as managing director.

Hanks joins Savills from Spectrum Companies where he worked as a managing director of brokerage services. Notably, Hanks was responsible for the predevelopment and leasing of 300 South Tryon, a 650,000-square-foot Class A office tower in uptown Charlotte. Prior to Spectrum, Hanks was a senior vice president and principal at Cassidy Turley, specializing in tenant representation and occupier strategy. He began his career with Trammell Crow Company.

Beecher brings over 10 years of professional experience and joins as a tenant representation specialist responsible for providing customized real estate solutions for companies throughout the Southeast region. Beecher comes to Savills from The Remi Group, an equipment maintenance management program provider, where he was vice president of operations and responsible for customer-facing and internal operations departments, including underwriting, account services, contract management and vendor relations.

Hanks and Beecher’s arrival continues to expand Savills leasing and occupant experience capabilities and expertise. In recent months, the firm has added Corporate Managing Director Kevin Harris in Washington, DC and enhanced the firm’s project management and consulting services with the acquisition of Macro Consultants LLC, a leading project management firm.
