Selected As One Of The Highest-Scoring Businesses, With Standout Employee Engagement

DLP Real Estate Capital has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2020. Hitting newsstands May 12 in the May/June 2020 issue, and as part of a prominent Inc.com feature, the list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of private American companies that have created exceptional workplaces through vibrant cultures, deep employee engagement, and stellar benefits.

DLP Real Estate Capital, under the leadership of Founder and CEO Don Wenner, is a leader in the single and multi-family real estate sectors of brokerage, investment management, asset management, property management, construction, and private lending. DLP RE Capital leads and inspires the building of wealth and prosperity through the execution of innovative real estate solutions. The company generates consistent returns and results for its investors and partners and gives back through its Positive Returns Foundation. The family of companies includes DLP Capital Partners, DLP Direct Lending Partners, DLP Real Estate Management, DLP Realty, DLP Brite Homes, Alliance Servicing, and Alliance Property Transfer.

Wenner comments, “We are thrilled to be named one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces list for 2020! This award is the culmination of a truly dedicated team of over 300 individuals, all rowing together in unison toward the same goal, driven by a purpose and our company core values. We have received many awards for our growth and success, but there is truly no award or recognition that is more valuable and meaningful than our amazing team members' unwavering dedication toward this company and their feeling that this is the place for them to grow, be appreciated, achieve, and succeed in all of their goals.”

Collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. singled out 395 finalists for this year’s list. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, on topics including trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future. Inc. gathered, analyzed, and audited the data. All employers were ranked using a composite score of survey results. This year, 73.5 percent of surveyed employees were engaged by their work.

The strongest engagement scores came from companies that prioritize the most human elements of work. These companies are leading the way in employee recognition, performance management, and diversity. It is a different playbook from a decade ago when too many firms used the same template: free food, open work environments, and artifacts of “fun.”

“Building a great corporate culture comes only from strong leadership,” says Inc. magazine editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “The companies on Inc.’s Best Workplaces list are setting an example that the whole country can learn from, especially now, when company culture is more important to the workforce than ever.”
