CBRE announced today that Jim Sewell and Erika Maston have joined CBRE Capital Markets to focus on the sale of institutional multifamily communities throughout South Carolina and Coastal Georgia.
Mr. Sewell and Ms. Maston, who have more than 30 years of combined multifamily experience, join CBRE as Senior Vice President and Capital Markets Operations Director, respectively. They will be based in CBRE’s Charleston office.
“Jim and Erika will further enhance our strong presence in the Carolinas multifamily market. They bring deep experience with multifamily sales that will complement the extensive suite of services we provide to our clients in the region,” said Kevin Kempf, a senior vice president of Capital Markets at CBRE.
Mr. Sewell has more than 20 years of multifamily sales experience in the Southeast, including involvement in over $3 billion in related sales across risk spectrums. He joins CBRE from Iron Lion Realty, where he was President. Prior to this, Mr. Sewell was at JLL where he helped generate $1.4 billion in sales. Mr. Sewell graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Ms. Maston has 14 years of experience in multifamily investment sales. She comes to CBRE from Iron Lion Realty, where she was Vice President. Prior to this, she was at JLL and was directly involved in multifamily sales across the Carolinas and Coastal Georgia. Ms. Maston graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
