Northside Station Offers Redeveloped Mixed-Use Asset in Booming North Tryon Corridor

Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the $15.75 million sale of Northside Station, a 36,611-square-foot mixed-use asset located in the heart of the booming North Tryon Corridor in Uptown Charlotte. Jared Londry, Rob Cochran, and Nolan Ashton of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Ascent Real Estate Partners, in the transaction. Westward Capital Group acquired the property.

“The partners at Ascent had great vision when acquiring Northside Station just over three years ago, understanding both the growth trajectory of North Tryon and the lack of similar product in Uptown Charlotte,” Londry said. “Reducing the footprint of the tenant spaces to fit modern F&B requirements was part of the transformation. The investment made to modernize the space while keeping the original integrity of the building that dates back to the 1930s is what made this asset special in the eyes of investors.”

Cochran added, “The experiential asset offers trendy, irreplaceable construction elements that both retailers and office users desire, and the repositioning provides unique design elements in every suite. Some suites offer outdoor and rooftop seating options, a highly sought-after amenity in CBD Charlotte.”

Located at 300 N. College Street, Northside Station is located just blocks from the Trade & Tryon Intersection andtheEpicenter and sits adjacent to the 7th Street Lynx Blue Line Light Rail Stop, the 7th Street Market, and the future headquarters of Truist Bank. The building is fully leased to six tenants, including TopGolf, QC Social, The Imperial, Lucky’s Bar & Arcade, Sabor and Jimmy John’s.
