HanesBrands CFO Barry Hytinen to Leave Company

HanesBrands announced CFO Barry Hytinen will step down from his role at year end to accept a role outside the company.

Hanes is now in the process, with the help from an outside firm, to consider both internal and external candidates to fill this role.

“Barry is a talented finance professional, and we appreciate his contributions over the past two years to strategy development and to strengthening our finance organization,” said CEO Gerald Evans in a press release Monday.

HanesBrands is a manufacturer and marketer of basic apparel. The company has approximately 65,300 employees in more than 40 countries. HanesBrands shares were trading at $14.97 on Tuesday, down 19 cents.
