NN, Inc., announced that Chris Qualters has been appointed executive vice president of life sciences in a statement Monday. Additionally, the executive vice president roles of mobile solutions and power solutions have been consolidated into one role, headed by John Buchan.
Qualters was previously the executive vice president of NN’s power solutions group and succeeds Robbie Atkinson, who is leaving the company to pursue new endeavors.
The company said the appointment is part of NN’s evaluation of its operations and commitment to invest in areas with the greatest return potential.
“Life Sciences has performed well and we see many additional opportunities ahead, which is why we are so excited to have Chris bring his commercial, operational and medical sales expertise to the leadership role of this business,” said Warren Veltman, NN’s interim president and chief executive officer.
Buchan is currently the interim executive vice president of NN’s mobile solutions group and will take over Qualter’s responsibilities as vice president of power solutions in the newly conjoined role.
“Both Power Solutions and Mobile Solutions benefit from a deep talent pool, and I look forward to collaborating with both teams as we work to enhance customer experience and strive for continuous improvement,” said Buchan.
NN, Inc. is a diversified industrial company with 50 facilities in North America, Europe, South America and China.
