HZO, a technology-based waterproofing company, announced its new headquarters in Raleigh according to a press release today.
The new headquarters will accommodate the company’s rapid global growth and need to access top technical talent, the company said.
“We wanted to center ourselves in a community that affords us access to top talent, university partnerships, cutting-edge technology, and a great quality of life,” said Stephen Gold, chief commercial officer at HZO.
The new facility will provide the former Utah-based company with up to ten times more U.S.-based manufacturing space and four times more research and development space. The company is expecting to bring over 500 jobs to the Research Triangle Park region.
HZO is a waterproofing company that uses nano-coating to protect electronic devices against water and other liquids. Shares of HZO were trading at $16.52 on Friday, up 14 cents.
