Syneos Health and AiCure announced a partnership to develop faster and smarter clinical trials Tuesday morning in a press release.

The companies said this is the first CRO partnership to provide patient, trial and site-level insights using artificial intelligence.

The partnership will take advantage of AiCure’s proprietary software which provides a platform to understand how patients responds to treatment. This technology helps collect, analyze, and forecast patient behaviors, which will influence clinical trial conformity.

Syneos will have access to AiCure’s digital biomarker assessments, evaluating facial, verbal, speech, and movement variables to objectively study known clinical endpoints.

Syneos Health is bio-pharmaceutical solutions organization based in Morrisville. Syneos shares were trading at $49.46 Tuesday morning, up 97 cents.
