The vice president of business development for Akoustis Technologies, Inc. sold 10,250 shares the company announced Monday.

David Aichele sold the shares at a price of $7.74 with a total value of $79,335, according to a Form 4 Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Aichele still directly owns 160,071 shares in the company.

Aichele has been with Akoustis since May 2015. He previously served as the executive vice president of sales and marketing at T1Visions, Inc.

Akoustis Technologies is a bulk acoustic wave radio frequency filter company headquartered in Huntersville.

Akoustis Technologies shares are trading at $8.17 per share on Wednesday, up 22 cents.
