CBD oil company cbdMD will partner with Life Time Inc., a chain of wellness destinations, the company announced Wednesday.

The agreement will make cbdMD the exclusive CBD partner of Life Time, the company said in a press release. cbdMD will sponsor several Life Time Triathlon Series events and have a presence at the company’s more than 140 locations.

Founded in 2015, Charlotte-based cbdMD was the first CBD company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The company has partnerships with several athletes including golfer Bubba Watson, beach volleyball player Kerri Walsh Jennings and former NFL player Steve Smith.

“Through this partnership, we’ll continue advancing the conversation about CBD and its many applications in peoples’ lives,” cbdMD Chief Marketing Officer Ken Cohn said in a press release.

Shares of cbdMD were trading at $3.83 on Wednesday, down 16 cents.
