A Wake Forest, North Carolina-based company sold $1.75 million in shares in a private stock offering, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Maverick Training Corp. filed the Form D on September 5. It did not disclose what it intended to do with the proceeds. There is $250,000 of the original $2 million offering that remains to be sold.
Maverick Training Corp. is a provider of software solutions and training under owner and director Fred Canon.
Companies relying on a Reg D exemption do not have to register their offering of securities with the SEC, but they must file what’s known as a Form D electronically with the SEC after they first sell their securities.
The form can be found here.
