Culp Inc., an upholstery fabric supplier that ships across the United States, Canada and China, will hold its annual meeting of shareholders on Sept. 26, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Thursday.
During the meeting holders will vote to elect six director nominees, approve the compensation for executive officers and ratify the appointment of independent auditors.
The company also released a letter to shareholders Thursday that detailed a ‘tumultuous’ year where the company was affected by tariffs in China and the death of its founder in Dec. 2018.
Culp manages manufacturing and distribution facilities that ship mattress and upholstery fabric globally.
Shares of Culp closed at $14.01 Friday, down 81 cents.
