
Matt Lamp
Global architecture and design firm Perkins and Will appointed Matt Lamp AIA, an architect with 20 years of healthcare experience, as senior medical planner. He joins the Durham-based healthcare studio and will provide data-driven strategy and planning for the firm’s health system clients in the Carolinas and beyond.

Lamp earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Architecture, is a registered architect, member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and serves as an instructor at the Lean Construction Institute.Prior to joining Perkins and Will, he worked with national and international architecture firms and developed a distinctive ability to understand, through data and occupancy review, how designed environments can best meet the needs of healthcare workers and patients.Lamp’s work integrates analytics tools including modelling, process mapping, and digital simulation to improve the patient and staff experience.
