Uwharrie Capital’s CEO and COO See Slight Increase in Compensation

Uwharrie Capital Corp. Chief Executive Officer Roger Dick saw a 2.26 percent increase in compensation for 2018, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Dick’s compensation for 2018 totaled at $456,363, an $10,081 increase from the previous year.

Dick’s bonus and non-qualified deferred compensation earnings stayed consistent from 2017.

Dick received a $10,000 increase in his salary, rising to $258,455, and a slight $200 increase in non-equity incentive plan compensation, making up the difference in his two years’ earnings.

Brenden Duffey, the company’s chief operating officer, chief risk officer and executive vice president, also saw a slight increase in compensation for 2018.

Duffey earned $419,449 in 2018 compared to $393,432 the previous year.

Duffey’s salary, non-equity incentive plan compensation and other compensation all went up slightly.

Uwharrie Capital Corp. is the holding company for Uwharrie Bank, which has 10 banking offices and two loan production offices in Stanly County, Cabarrus County, Anson County and Mecklenburg County.

The company’s annual meeting will be held May 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center in Albemarle.
