Guerrilla RF Inc., a telecommunications product manufacturer, has raised $1.65 million by selling debt, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The $1.65 million was raised by 14 investors with the date of the first sale near the end of March. The offering has $365,000 left to be sold for a total of $2 million.

The form did not disclose what the company plans to do with the money.

The Greensboro-based company provides high-performance monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs) for the wireless infrastructure market. Guerilla RF developed the innovative MMICs to allow wireless infrastructure equipment manufacturers to provide greater coverage area and higher data rates.

The company was founded in 2013 by CEO Ryan Pratt, an electrical engineering graduate from North Carolina State University.

Pratt has over two decades of RF semiconductor experience. Prior to Guerilla RF, Pratt worked as the design center director for Skyworks, from 2006 to 2013.

In April 2018, the company raised $1.8 million in the form of equity and options. The rest of that story can be found here.

Companies relying on a Reg D exemption do not have to register their offering of securities with the SEC, but they must file what’s known as a Form D electronically with the SEC after they first sell their securities.
