New BMC CEO David Flitman Received $4.3M in 2018 Compensation

The chief executive officer of BMC Stock Holdings Inc. received $4.3 million in compensation after being hired last year, accordingly to the company’s proxy statementreleased Friday.

David Flitman was named president and CEO of the company in late August and joined the company in September. He has over three decades of executive experience, most recently serving as CEO at Performance Foodservice.

Flitman was given a $200,000 signing bonus in September, which is included in his total compensation. He also received $3.5 million in stock options.

He received salary of $172,885 during 2018. His base salary for an entire year is $775,000.

David Keltner, the interim president and chief executive officer, earned $1.56 million.

BMC Stock is one of the nation’s leading providers to professional builders and contractors in the residential housing market.

BMC Stock reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings in February, causing its stock to rise 7.3 percent. The company had $3.7 billion in sales in 2018.

Its stock closed Friday at $17.67, up 18 cents.
