North State Capital Partners LLC has raised $1.05 million in an equity fundraising effort among nine different investors, according to a filing with the Securities Exchange Commission.

The minimum investment for each was $100,000. The money was raised under a separate LLC, North State Triangle LLC,

The form D filed Monday lists Cornelius-based North State Capital Partners’ leadership — Christian Buckner, David Dupree and Shane Seagle — as executive officers and promoters of North State Triangle. Joe Tissue acted as North State Triangle’s attorney for the filing.

According to North State Capital Partners’ website, the firm acquires, develops and manages property on behalf of qualified and institutional investors.

Primarily operating in the Carolinas and throughout the Southeast, North State Capital Partners invests in all types of real estate: Multifamily, office, retail, self-storage, and single-family residential developments.

Its home building arm operates through an affiliate company, Madison Simmons Homes & Communities.
