CIJ Holdings Inc., a North Carolina-based cannabis investment and holdings company, has acquired a Wilmington, North Carolina cannabis seed to sale consultation and brokerage house called Grown 2 Gold LLC for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition is the first for privately-held CIJ Holdings, Inc. and greatly strengthens the company’s cultivation, processing, manufacturing and brokerage operations within the Cannabis industry.

“We are extremely excited about the partnership with CIJ Holdings Inc,” said Boone Rivenbark, founder of Grown 2 Gold LLC.

Grown 2 Gold LLC is a North Carolina Hemp Pilot Program permitted cultivator and processor. In addition to its vertically integrated product line, Sweet Earth Extracts, Grown 2 Gold brings white labeling opportunities for interested partners.

“This merger allows us to inject working capital and resources to cultivate and and manage around 1000 acres of North and South Carolina cannabis, respectively. Our goal is growth, and we are confident CIJ Holdings Inc. is going to get us there,” continued Rivenbark.

According to a press release Friday, the cost of the sale has not been disclosed.
