Raleigh-based JDavis Architects PLLC has named a president and chief executive officer of the company.
Neil Gray will now serve as CEO, where his primary responsibility will be in business development and client management.
Current President and CEO Larry Zucchino will now serve as chairman of the board for the company.
Zucchino said, “A strategic shift in our senior leadership will place our firm in a position for continued growth with a focus on design service and a strong corporate culture.”
JDavis engages in the planning and architecture of neighborhoods, urban infill developments and mixed-use projects. JDavis’s staff includes architects, interior designers and landscape architects.
JDavis has erected several properties and buildings both in North Carolina and throughout the United States, including the Carmichael Sports Complex at NC State University and the Joyner Library Courtyard and Plaza at East Carolina University.
In the past, Gray has provided leadership on many office, multifamily and commercial development projects and has served as president for the last three years.
Gray said, “We intend to build upon the foundation established by Jeff Davis and Larry Zucchino by fostering a culture focused on client-centered service, design leadership, exceptional project delivery and collaboration.”
JDavis has several projects coming in 2019, including the Pier 33 apartments near the Wilmington Convention Center, which will begin construction this month.
