Curtiss Wright CEO Adams Sells Stock, Profits $777,000

The chief executive officer and chairman of Davidson, North Carolina-based aerospace company Curtiss Wright Crop. sold $777,000 worth of stock on Friday.

David Adams sold 7,000 shares of common stock at $111 each, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Friday.

He currently owns 75,164 shares valued at $8.4 million.

Curtiss Wright specializes in aerospace technologies, while also offering products in the commercial, defense, energy and industrial markets. Based out of Davidson, North Carolina, Curtiss Wright operates facilities in 18 countries worldwide.

Adams has served as CEO of Curtiss Wright since 2013, after being with the company since 2000. He has over 30 years experience in the aerospace industry, having served in senior business development roles for Goodrich and Lucas Aerospace for 10 years.

The company recently reported an 9.54 percent in net profits since the beginning of 2019, and a increased earnings per share of $1.68 in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Its stock closed Friday at $112.01, up 98 cents.
