Raleigh home sellers can now request an all-cash offer for their property from Zillow Group, an online real estate database company known for its home sales website.

Zillow Offers — first launched last July in Arizona — started writing cash offers in Charlotte this past December; Raleigh marks the sixth market for the Seattle-based firm’s cash offering business.

“Many homeowners are trying to time the sale of their home with the purchase of a new one,” says Zillow Brand President Jeremy Wacksman in a statement, “and falling inventory in Raleigh can make finding that new home on a tight deadline even more stressful. Zillow Offers aims to alleviate some of that stress and gives sellers the ability to customize their selling experience.”

According to a release Monday, Zillow Offers allows home sellers to request a no-obligation cash offer from Zillow for the purchase of the property — at no charge, and with no open houses.

Area agents are set to assist with transactions.

“We decided to work with Zillow because they really are the only disrupter out there right now that decided real estate agents are important in the process,” said Quentin Dane, owner of Dash Realty Group. Dash Realty will represent Zillow in all of its Raleigh transactions.

Three Raleigh real estate agencies will partner with Zillow to represent home sellers: Coldwell Banker Advantage, RE/MAX United, and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Carolina.
