Cape Fear CREW, the leading organization for women in commercial real estate in the Cape Fear region,has named its 2019 Board of Directors and announced its first program on Friday, January 18, 2019 where members and guests will hear from Battleship Executive Director, Capt. Terry Bragg, about the $2 million Battleship Project.
Welcoming the 2019 Board of Directors
Connie Ronner of SunTrust Bank will succeed Elise Rocks of JC Morgan as President of the chapter. Ms. Ronner noted, “Elise was a phenomenal leader for Cape Fear CREW in 2018, bringing her distinctive brand of leadership and energy to our programs and activities and setting the stage for our first annual Awards of Excellence in February 2019.”

$2 Million Battleship Project Luncheon on January 18 – Insights and Plans
Capt. Terry Bragg and battleship staff have initiated a plan to help the popular Battleship site better cope with increasingly frequent floodwaters. A draft concept of the $2 million Living With Water plan shows a restored tidal marsh sitting where the frequently flooded northern end of the
parking lot is now, a boardwalk crossing it, and living shorelines running alongside the ship. Join Cape Fear CREW for an insightful look at the project and the challenges and opportunities involved.
