Levvel Holdings LLC has raised $1.5 million in equity from 15 investors, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

It’s the second private equity round for the company. It raised $2.3 million in March 2017, according to another SEC filing.

The consulting firm is based in Charlotte and specializes in product development, software development, and strategic advisory services.

The company was founded in 2013 and has over 200 employees. Levvel Holdings also helps with cloud technologies, data and analytics and payment strategy. Levvel Holdings has offices across the country and in Australia and Singapore.

Levvel Holdings Chief Executive Officer and Founder Chris Hart has more than 15 years of technology leadership experience.

Hart has a specialized focus on financial technology in the consumer, commercial and wealth management space.

Hart has a bachelors of science in computer science at Regis University.
