Iqvia’s SVP Emmanuel Korakis Will Receive $340,000 Salary

The new senior vice president of Iqvia Holdings Inc. will be paid a base annual salary of $340,000 with a bonus of $150,000, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Emmanuel Korakis, 44, will serve as senior vice president and corporate controller and principal accounting officer, effective Nov. 1. He will replace Robert Parks who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

Korakis served as corporate controller and chief accounting officer at American Express Global Business Travel from July 2017 to September 2018. Before that, he held positions at S&P Global from 2007 to June 2017, most recently as chief financial officer.

In addition to his base salary, he will have an annual bonus opportunity of 50 percent of his base salary. He will also receive long-term incentive plan pay of $200,000 including stock over three years from Jan. 1, 2018 through Dec. 31, 2020.

Korakis will also be eligible to participate in the company’s standard benefit plans for U.S. employees.

Iqvia helps health care clients find better solutions for their patients. The Durham company provides biopharmaceutical research analytics, which use data and science to “create cures, prevent illness, and enable better health,” the company’s website says.

Iqvia has approximately 55,000 employees in more than 100 countries.

The company closed at $126.59 on Friday, up 8 cents, or .06 percent.
