A Raleigh-based video game company sold $100,000 worth of shares in a private stock offering, according to a Thursday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Puny Human, LLC filed the Form D on Aug. 30. It did not disclose what it intends to do with the proceeds.

The company has created four original video games, including Blade Runner, a swordfighting game, and Galacide, which mixes puzzle games with the classic space-themed shoot ‘em up genre.

The company’s CEO, Michael Sanders, has worked at various technology companies in the Triangle including Red Storm Entertainment, Expion, and XSInc.

At Puny Human, oversees company direction and development, governing major product decisions and changes and works with vendors to negotiate and manage sale or licensing agreements.

Companies relying on a Reg D exempton do not have to register their offering of securities with the SEC, but they must file what’s known as a Form D electronically with the SEC after they first sell their securities.

The form can be found here.
