Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of the following three transactions totaling 33,687 square feet of retail space in North Carolina.

Sale Transaction

Richland County, South Carolina purchased the 29,484-square-foot, former Haverty Furniture building located at 1430 West Colonial Life Boulevard in Columbia, South Carolina from Haverty Furniture Company for $1,050,000. DRE’s Diana Teitsma represented the seller in the transaction. Richland County Economic Development will occupy the building.

Lease Renewals

Mezzanotte Pizzeria & Ristorante renewed its lease for 3,003 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Providence Plaza located at 2907 Providence Road in Charlotte. Charles Neil represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Chipotle, Aqua Tots, Hair Fairies, Ballantyne Nail Spa, Fresh Chef Kitchen, Poppy’s Bagels & More, The Little Gym and Massage Envy.

Dry Cleaners Unlimited renewed its lease for 1,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Renaissance Square located at 11094 Renaissance Drive in Kannapolis, NC. Charles Neil and Hutch Farris represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Renaissance Square include: Harris Teeter, Subway, Inspire Chiropractic, DiMaggio’s Pizza, and Edward Jones.
