The Deuterman Law Group, with two offices in the Triad, has hired associate attorney Nicole Davis to work in its Greensboro office.

The Deuterman Law Group handles a range of injury cases, including workers’ compensation; Social Security disability; veterans disability benefits; automobile, motorcycle and truck accidents; catastrophic injury; and wrongful death claims.

Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts in public policy and economics from UNC. She  earned her juris doctorate from the UNC School of Law.

While studying to become an attorney, Davis worked for the Southern Environmental Law Center and also interned with the Law Offices of F. Bryan Brice, Jr. in Raleigh. These opportunities provided her with experience in environmental law and personal injury law, specifically toxic torts involving clients who suffered injuries because of environmental contamination.

In law school, Davis was a Note Editor for the First Amendment Law Review and a teaching assistant for an undergraduate class on environmental law and policy. She was treasurer of the law school’s chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. She worked as professor’s research assistant at the UNC School of Law Immigration Clinic and clerked for Investors Title Insurance Company in Chapel Hill.

Throughout her time in Chapel Hill, Davis was active with the UNC Wesley Campus Ministry, serving in a variety of leadership positions. In law school, she worked for the campus ministry, serving as a liaison between staff and students. She remains a board member for the organization, which is affiliated with the Methodist church.
