EnPro Industries Inc.’s chief executive officer saw a 71 percent increase in total compensation in the company’s 2017 fiscal year due to an increase in non-equity incentive plan compensation, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
CEO and President Stephen Macadam’s total compensation for the fiscal year totaled $5.6 million, up from $3.3 million in the company’s 2016 year. His non-equity incentive plan compensation increased to $2 million in the fiscal year 2017 from $721,140 in 2016.
Macadam’s salary for the fiscal year 2017 was $868,269, up 2 percent from his fiscal year 2016 base salary of $850,000.
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer J. Milton Childress II received total compensation of $1.7 million during the 2017 fiscal year, up from $1.1 million in the company’s 2016 fiscal year.
Childress’s base salary is $401,692, according to the filing, which can be found here.
EnPro manufactures high-quality products and services sold to 40 industries, ranging from jet engines to oil wells to Navy ships.
The company reported revenue of $1.3 billion n 2017, up from $1.187 billion in 2016.
Its net income was $529 million in its 2017 fiscal year, up from a loss of $40.1 million in the fiscal year 2016.
EnPro’s annual meeting will be May 1 at 11:30 a.m. at the company’s headquarters located at 5605 Carnegie Blvd., Suite 500 in Charlotte.
The company’s shares were $79.10 Wednesday afternoon and are up 1.57 percent.
