NorthView Partners Raises $8.5 Million

Real estate company NorthView Partners has raised $8.5 million in equity, according to a Wednesday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The money was raised by 24 investors.

The minimum investment contributed by each investor was $250,000, according to the filing.

NorthView focuses on multifamily development and construction within the Triangle.

The Raleigh-based company is led Chief Executive Officer Mark Barker.

Barker has been involved in the development of over 5,000 multifamily units and has provided oversight for the construction of approximately 2,7000 multifamily units in his 20-year career.

The company was founded by Barker, Frank Robuck, Frank Morisey and Michael Peele in 2009.

Companies relying on a Reg D exemption do not have to register their offering of securities with the SEC, but they must file what’s known as a Form D electronically with the SEC after they first sell their securities.
