Akoustis Achieves Company-Wide ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Charlotte, NC, Feb. 28, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Akoustis Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKTS) (“Akoustis” or the “Company”), a manufacturer of patented single-crystal BulkONE® bulk acoustic wave (BAW) high-band RF filters for mobile and other wireless applications, announced today that its headquarters facility located in Huntersville, NC has received ISO 9001:2015 certification, which is the internationally recognized standard that establishes criteria for a company’s quality management system. This completes the company-wide certification for ISO 9001:2015 for all of Akoustis’ facilities.

The NC facility previously earned certification under ISO 9001:2008 in 2015 and has passed each subsequent surveillance audit. The new certification was achieved through a rigorous, process-based audit resulting in a certificate being awarded February 26, 2018. Certification to this standard is evidence of the organization’s commitment to continual improvement and customer satisfaction by aligning the quality and business management systems.
