Cape Fear CREW, the leading organization for women in commercial real estate in the Cape Fear region,welcomes Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Executive Director, Mike Kozlosky, to address the Future of Transportation in the Cape Fear Region on Friday, March 16 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Pine Valley Country Club.

Mike Kozlosky joined the City of Wilmington Urban Area MPO in November 2004 and serves as the Executive Director, where he is responsible for the day-to-day operations and activities of the Wilmington MPO. Mr. Kozlosky also served as President of the North Carolina Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations in 2008 and 2009. For the first four years of his career, he was the Transportation Planner for the City of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in 2000. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, boating and spending time at Wrightsville Beach.

The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WMPO) is the regional transportation planning agency for the lower Cape Fear region of southeastern North Carolina. The WMPO facilitates a cooperative, comprehensive, and continuing transportation planning process that serves as the basis for the expenditure of all federal transportation funds in the area for streets, highways, bridges, public transit, bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
