Cureate LLC has raised $1.8 million, according to a Form D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission filed Tuesday.
The company aims to raise another $2.6 million, according to the filing.
The company trademarked ‘Cureate’ with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in November 2017 and listed the organization as a staffing and employment agency service, namely providing placement services to temporary workers available through an online communication platform available on the web and mobile app.

Cureate’s Chief Executive Officer Robert Crowe was most recently working as the founder and CEO of Initio Advisory Group, an advising group that specializes in the educational and health care industries.

Private companies such as Cureate relying on a Reg D exemption do not have to register their offering of securities with the SEC, but must file a Form D electronically with the SEC after they sell its securities.
