RTP-based LearnPlatform Raises $3.19M from investors

RTP-based company LearnPlatform raised $3.19 million from five investors, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The investment will allow the company to expand its innovative educational technology that helps provide more equity in the education system.

The company lets educators manage all areas of their educational technology with a single system to streamline and analyze all learning technology. LearnPlatform also created IMPACT technology, a tool that analyzes actual utilization and achievement data.

Co-founder and CEO Karl Rectanus has started multiple education innovation companies and still advises various school districts and foundations. He originally was an educator in the U.S. and in other countries.

He has completed graduate courses at UCLA’s Anderson Business School and CalTech Executive Extension and was an NC Teaching Fellow and James M Johnston Scholar at UNC-Chapel Hill.
