Most dental insurances don’t provide coverage for orthodontic or cosmetic dentistry procedures for recipients above the age of 18. Some insurances provided partial coverage for recipients below 18 years old but also only to a certain amount.

Dr. Hull received his doctor of dental surgery degree and his masters degree in orthodontics from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Dr. Hull has been a practicing cosmetic dentist in Charlotte, NC, with a thirty-year experience on his resume.

The Woodlawn location also offers other restorative services such as partial dentures, bridges and crowns. In addition, procedures to help maintain patients’ oral health in top shape like dental fillings and cleaning are also available.

Woodlawn also has Dr. Diana Bass and Dr. Doan Tran at this location. Dr. Bass got her dentistry degree from UNC Chapel Hill with honors and is a daughter of a dentist as well. Dr. Bass is an expert in functional restorative dentistry, root canals and implant restorations.

Dr. Tran graduated from Oregon Health Science University in 2005 and has practiced in Oregon and Florida before moving to North Carolina for good. She handles cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and root canals among other less complex dental procedures.

Friendly Dental Group of Woodlawn is open Monday through Wednesday from 9am-6pm, Thursdays 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-2pm. Recently, Woodlawn accepted patients on a weekend, December 2 being their first Saturday seeing patients.
