Red Hat Executive VP DeLisa Alexander Profits Over $1.2 Million from Stock Sale

DeLisa Alexander, the executive vice president and chief people officer of Red Hat Inc. sold 16,712 shares of stock, profiting more than $1.2 million, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Alexander completed the transaction on Jan. 20 for $73.67 per share. She still holds 37,373 shares, according to the Form 4 filing, worth more than $2.7 million

Alexander began working at Red Hat in 2001 and has served as the vice president of human capital, senior vice president of people and brand, and currently operates as executive vice president and chief people officer.

Raleigh-based Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of open source, enterprise IT solutions. Red Hat specializes in cloud computing, storage, mobile, virtualization and operating system services.

The company has more than 85 worldwide offices operating in 35 countries, with an annual revenue exceeding $2 billion.

Red Hat closed at $74.06 on Monday, down 14 cents.
