Charlotte-based Commercial Real Estate Company Seeks To Raise $1.6 Million

1/13/17

Freeman Mill LLC filed a Form D on Jan. 12, with zero investors thus far. The minimum investment accepted from any outside investor is $50,000.

The filing did not disclose how the company would use its proceeds, and indicated that the company does not intend for this offering to last more than one year.

Rex Reynolds, manager of Freeman Mills, signed the Form D. Currently serving as president of Prosper Holdings LLC since July 2015, he previously served in various leadership roles at IBM in New York from 2002 to 2015.

Reynolds got his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Companies relying on a Reg D exemption do not have to register their offering of securities with the SEC, but they must first file what’s known as a Form D electronically with the SEC after they first sell their securities.

The Form D can be found here.
