Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of four leases for a total of 24,444 square feet of commercial space in North Carolina.Lease negotiations were handled by agents of the Charlotte office of Divaris Real Estate.

Cranfill, Sumner & Hartzog renewed its lease for 14,189 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Providence Plaza located at 2907 Providence Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. CSH has more than 80 attorneys serving clients across the state of North Carolina, with offices located in Raleigh, Charlotte, and Wilmington.

Medalist Capital leased 3,902 square feet of retail space in Providence Plaza, as well. Medalist Capital is a commercial real estate financial services company that specializes in mortgage banking, investment advisory and defeasance. Other tenants in the property include: Chipotle, Choate Construction, Bock & Grinder, Edward Jones, The Little Gym, Metropolitan Ballroom, and Ballantyne Nail Spa. DRE’s Charles Neil represented the landlord, Providence Plaza Charlotte, LLC, in the two lease negotiations.

Kimono Japanese Restaurant renewed its lease for 3,600 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Harper Hill Commons located at 4910 Old Country Club Road in Winston-Salem, NC. Kimono's was voted Best Japanese Restaurant in the Winston Salem area. Since 2001, Kimono's focuses on fast, healthy, filling and delicious Japanese food made from fresh ingredients.

Oakes Animal Hospital leased 2,753 square feet of retail space, also in Harper Hill Commons. The veterinary practice joins other tenants in the shopping center, including: Harris Teeter, Papa John’s, State Farm, Ultratan and FastMed. Jessica Peadon and Charles Neil of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord, Harper Hill North Carolina, LLC, in the two lease negotiations.
