First Tennessee Triangle Donates $60K to DHIC

10/4/16

As part of its commitment to community involvement and charitable giving, First Tennessee Bank of the Triangle has donated $60,000 to DHIC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of high-quality housing communities in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. Executives from First Tennessee Bank’s Raleigh office made the check presentation on Sept. 23 at DHIC’s headquarters on East Davie Street.

“This is the largest single donation that we’ve ever received, and will definitely benefit local residents seeking affordable housing solutions,” said DHIC President Gregg Warren. “Since 1974, DHIC has built or renovated more than 1,600 affordable rental apartment homes and more than 400 homes for sale, while serving thousands of individuals and families with housing support services.”

“First Tennessee Bank is committed to supporting affordable housing initiatives,” said Jim Beck, president, Triangle market, First Tennessee Bank. “We recognize the good work that DHIC has done, and applaud their efforts and successes.”
