Known for its scratch kitchen, warm hospitality and classic American cuisine infused with bold flavors, fresh herbs and spices, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill at SouthPark will reopen Thursday, Aug. 25. Firebirds specializes in aged steaks, fresh seafood, chicken and ribs, as well as specialty cocktails and select wines.

SouthPark’s reopening comes just in time for their ninth anniversary. They will celebrate with guests all weeklong beginning Aug. 29 by offering extended Happy Hour all day Monday – Thursday. In addition, Wednesday, Aug. 31 will include a party in the FIREBAR® and on the patio with live music, complimentary passed appetizers, goodie bag giveaways and a chance to win dinner for four.

Overseeing the SouthPark Firebirds’ re-opening will be General Manager A.J. Miklos. An essential part of the Firebirds family for more than a decade, Miklos brought his Canadian roots to Charlotte at age 12. He began as a guest assistant/busboy at Firebirds and has served for the past two years as the service manager at Firebirds in Stonecrest.

“Having been a part of the Firebirds family since I was 16, becoming a general manager is truly an honor,” said Miklos. “We’ve been a staple in the community for nine years now, and I look forward to serving our guests and continuing to grow lasting relationships with the SouthPark community.”

Firebirds is open Monday – Thursday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Friday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. The restaurant offers catering, to-go, gift cards and private dining room for banquet services. Guests can enjoy half-priced select bottles and glasses of wine every Monday during Wine Down Monday, Happy Hour with bar bites every Monday through Friday from 4 – 6:30 p.m. in the FIREBAR® and drink specials all day Wednesday throughout the entire restaurant.

Firebirds is proud of its partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), donating $1.25 per glass sold year-round in all restaurant locations.
