Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of three leases totaling 7,058 square feet of new and renewed retail space in North and South Carolina. All negotiations were handled through the Charlotte office of DRE.

Planet Beach renewed its lease for 2,100 square feet of retail space in the Divaris -leased and -managed South Square located at 3415 Westgate Drive in Durham, North Carolina. Planet Beach is a unique spa with 157 stores across the country that offers facials, hydration treatments, teeth whitening, guided meditation, oxygen therapy and sunless spray tans. Other tenants in South Square include: CVS, Ross Dress for Less, Petco, Sam’s Club, Office Depot, Wells Fargo Bank, Mattress Warehouse, Great Clips and Game Stop. The landlord, South Square Durham, LLC, was represented by DRE’s Charles Neil.

9-Round Gastonia leased 1,458 square feet of space in the Divaris -leased and -managed Shoppes at the Landing located at 221 Latitude Lane in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. 9-Round provides convenient, 30-minute workouts with no set class times and a trainer included with over 500 locations in the US and 103 locations in Canada, Mexico, Australia, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, the UK and Jordan. DRE’s Neil and Diana Teitsma represented the landlord, SATL, LLC, in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the Shoppes at the Landing include: Jersey Mike’s, Papa John’s, H&R Block and the US Postal Service.

Monte De Rey on Country Club renewed its lease for 3,500 square feet of retail space in the Divaris -leased and -managed Harper Hill Commons located at 4962 Harper Hill Drive in Winston-Salem, NC. This restaurant chain has six locations throughout North Carolina serving delicious Mexican cuisine for lunch and dinner. The lease was handled on behalf of the landlord, Harper Hill Winston-Salem, LLC, by DRE’s Jessica Peadon and Charles Neil.
