Sidney Minter, an attorney with the Charlotte office labor and employment law firm Charlotte, Fisher Phillips, recently graduated from the North Carolina Bar Association Leadership Academy’s Class of 2016.
Minter was one of 16 young attorneys who participated in and graduated from the Leadership Academy’s sixth class. The mission of the Leadership Academy is to help young lawyers become more effective leaders in their communities. Minter is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association, where he also serves on the Minorities in the Profession Committee and co-leads the Community Relations Committee.
“In addition to providing a great opportunity to examine my passions and leadership style, the Leadership Academy allowed me to forge strong relationships with other leaders at my same experience level,” said Minter. “The insight and experience I gained will enable me to become a much better leader, communicator and attorney, as well as collaborate on future projects with my fellow Leadership Academy classmates.”
